The Washoe SD Lighting Upgrades PH1 was a $5.2 million dollar comprehensive LED lighting retrofit and lighting replacement project that was executed over a 8 month period.  This project consisted of the design, procurement, and installation of new LED lighting fixtures and lighting retrofit components on 33 different sites in three separate jurisdictions; 17 in City of Sparks, 9 in Washoe County, and 7 in City of Reno. 

The majority of the scope of work consisted of one for one interior lighting retrofit and exterior lighting retrofit to existing fixtures.  Other notable lighting upgrades included new LED high bay fixtures in gymnasiums and new LED sports lighting on 3 high school football fields.  Lighting retrofit measure selections were based on energy efficiency and various rebate incentives.
